At St Laurence, we recognise the importance of high-quality outdoor play and active playtimes for all pupils. Although we are a Junior School, we know that children still need opportunities to explore, create, imagine and develop through play.
Our children’s playtimes are engaging and fun, while also helping to build essential skills such as teamwork, resilience, creativity and problem-solving. We have clothing and equipment available so that children can enjoy being outside on the field throughout the year. We are not afraid of playing in the rain – we are simply encouraging active, imaginative and adventurous play.
