29/04/2024 - Recent Ofsted report!!
Exciting news! Our recent Ofsted report is in! We've maintained our 'Good' overall grading, with 'Outstanding' for Personal Development! Huge congrats to our amazing students, staff, governors, and parents/carers!
08/05/2025 - We’re proud to announce that we’ve been re-awarded the Kent Resilience Award!
This recognition celebrates our continued commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing and resilience of our pupils through a whole-school approach. Thank you to our amazing staff, pupils and wider community for making this possible.
04/07/2025 - Car Park Progress at St Laurence CE Junior Academy!
We’re thrilled to share that work on our long-awaited new car park is well underway! This exciting development will ease congestion, improve safety at drop-off and pick-up, and make a real difference to families and staff. Our children had a tour of the site this week with Ms Graham and Mrs Buckland, and they’ve loved watching the diggers in action during breaktimes! The school has worked closely with the local community, Network Rail and Sport England to make this possible. We’re looking forward to the official opening next year – and are honoured to have invited Bishop Rose to join us for the celebration! Thank you for your continued support – we’ll keep you updated as the project continues.
