A Great Start to the New School Year
We are delighted to share that the new academic year has begun with such positivity and enthusiasm. From the very first day back, our classrooms and corridors have been filled with energy, laughter and a real eagerness to learn. Our pupils have returned ready to embrace new challenges, settle into routines and make the most of every opportunity. It has been wonderful to see new friendships forming, old ones rekindled and our school values being lived out across the community. We are very proud of how well our pupils have started the term and we look forward to building on this strong beginning as we journey through the year together.

Rich Rhythms drumming day brings music to St Laurence
School was full of energy and excitement today as Rich Rhythms visited the school to deliver a full day of drumming workshops. Each class had the opportunity to take part in a practical music session using djembes and other hand drums. Pupils explored rhythm, teamwork and call-and-response playing, building up to a final shared performance. The workshops were highly engaging and encouraged listening, turn-taking and confidence through music.

Mini Police Cadets
What a fantastic experience for our Mini Police Cadets! They enjoyed a brilliant trip to Margate Police Station, where PC Williams gave them a tour of the station, a peek inside a police car, and even showed them all the tools officers carry on their jackets! What a great way to learn about keeping our community safe.
